Nutrition and Exercise Counsellor
Cindy Yu is an accredited and highly qualified counsellor and has extensive training in several psychological approaches; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Positive Psychology (including mindfulness and strength-based approaches), Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. Cindy is also currently studying to become an accredited Dietitian.
Cindy uses a holistic approach when working with her clients to achieve their health goals, ensuring their utmost wellbeing both mentally and physically. Cindy combines nutritional education, exercise advice and psychotherapy together in her sessions and tailors each of her sessions to individual needs by adopting a client-centred approach.
Cindy aims to help individuals achieve their personal goals, deal with challenging and conflicting situations, improve mood and motivation, and most importantly, help to improve their overall quality of life.
